Personal Injury Featured Case: Levaquin

The antibiotic Levaquin (in a class of antibiotics called fluroquinolone) has been linked to serious side effects, including tendonitis and tendon rupture. This prompted the FDA to require the addition of a warning label to the packaging of this powerful antibiotic. The FDA has reported more than 60% of fluoroquinolone-related tendon injuries are linked to Levaquin.

Personal Injury Featured Case: Yaz, Yasmin, or Ocella

The best selling birth control pill Yaz, its predecessor Yasmin, and Ocella have been linked to serious side effects. The manufacturers failed to warn women about the potential health problems associated with taking these pills. If you or someone you know has suffered blood clots, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, stroke, heart attack, breast cancer, gallbladder removal, or death after taking Yaz, Yasmin, or Ocella, you should contact one of our attorneys at the Stenger Law Firm, LLC.

Personal Injury Featured Case: Trasylol

The injection drug Trasylol has been associated with an increased risk of kidney failure, heart attack, stroke, and other serious adverse events. Trasylol is an anti-bleeding drug given right before surgery in hopes of mitigating the need for blood transfusions. It was used primarily in coronary artery bypass grafting surgery but may have also been given in other surgeries in which there was a high risk of blood loss. Because it was given after the patient was put under, most patients given Trasylol did not know it.
